tradingscope.net/hesap-silFrequently asked questions.
The 12 most common questions about sign-in, notifications, data and accounts.
Try these in order:
- Check your number. It must be in the form +90 5XX XXX XX XX. A leading zero is fine, but a wrong country code sends the code to someone else.
- Wait 1–2 minutes. Codes can be delayed by the carrier. A code is valid for 5 minutes; request a new one if it has expired.
- Hourly limit. At most 3 codes per hour are sent to the same number; if you saw "Too many codes requested", wait an hour.
- 5 wrong attempts lock that code; request a new one.
- Network. Airplane mode, the wrong line on a dual-SIM phone or SMS-blocking apps can drop the code.
Still nothing? Email destek@tradingscope.net with your number and the time you tried; we'll check the delivery logs.
Your account is tied to your phone number. In the app, go to Profile › Account details › Phone to change it; a code is sent to the new number and, once verified, your account (portfolio, watchlist, preferences) continues under the new number.
If you no longer have access to the old number, signing in with the new one creates a new, empty account; the old data does not move. In that case, email destek@tradingscope.net.
Two ways, both do the same thing: in the app under Profile › Account details › Delete account, or without the app at tradingscope.net/hesap-sil.
Deletion cannot be undone. Your profile, portfolio, watchlist, notification preferences and usage logs are deleted permanently. The one exception: analyses you published stay in the feed, detached from you and anonymised; write to us before deleting if you want them removed too.
- System permission: on iOS, Settings › TradingScope › Notifications; on Android, Settings › Apps › TradingScope › Notifications must be on. If you declined at first launch the app cannot ask again; enable it by hand.
- In-app preferences: notification types can be switched off one by one under Profile (insider trades, news, price alerts, followed investors, comment replies).
- If you signed out, notifications stop; they resume automatically when you sign back in.
- Focus / Do Not Disturb and iOS "Scheduled Summary" can delay notifications.
If the stock is in your watchlist or portfolio: every open-market purchase above $100,000 and every unplanned sale above $1,000,000 sends a notification. Planned (10b5-1) sales, option exercises, share gifts and tax withholding do not; they still appear on screen with a "PLANNED" badge.
The notification arrives within 30 minutes of the filing reaching the SEC.
Because the source documents are. Institutional investors report their portfolios on SEC Form 13F once a quarter and publish the quarter-end snapshot up to 45 days later. Every portfolio shows two dates: the date the data refers to and the day the filing was made; the link to the filing itself is on screen.
The real answer to "when did they buy" is in Form 4: holders of more than 10% disclose each trade within two business days. The "Disclosed trades" section on an investor's page comes from those filings.
- Market closed. The value shown is the last close; stock prices do not change on weekends and holidays.
- Free data tier. For US stocks we use trades from a single exchange (IEX); in our measurement 101 of 103 symbols were within 1%, but thinly traded names can deviate more.
- Symbols not in the feed are shown with the last known price and a "delayed" label; we never invent a value.
- If the feed drops, a warning bar appears at the top of the screen.
When you pick a symbol, the real numbers the app holds (price, period changes, moving averages, 52-week range) are given to the AI, which writes a technical commentary. If you upload a chart image, the symbol is read from the image first.
What it does not do: no buy/sell/hold advice, no price targets, no invented indicator values. If there is no data it says "unknown". Uploaded images are sent to Anthropic for processing; make sure the image contains no account numbers or balances.
No. TradingScope is an information app: it does not route orders, connect to a broker or hold money or assets. The portfolio screen is a tracker that calculates from purchases you enter by hand. No payments are taken in the app and no card details are requested; if you ever see such a request it is not from us, please report it.
Tapping an invite link on your phone recognises the code automatically; you can also type it into the Invite code field on the sign-up screen. A code can only be attached during first sign-up, not later.
No application is needed to share analyses. The blue badge marks accounts whose identity and professional competence have been verified; email destek@tradingscope.net with the required documents (identity verification, a CMB licence if any, a company letter for corporate accounts). Published analyses cannot be edited or deleted; only an update note can be added underneath.
Yes. Email kvkk@tradingscope.net from the phone number registered to your account; we will tell you what data is processed and send a copy within 30 days. The detailed list is in the Privacy Policy.
